I am a UK based artist, and work with a mixed range of mediums, such as watercolour, inks, professional markers, gouache, acrylics, pens and pencils.
I'm inspired by nature around me, bright blooms, grounding trees and the variant spectrum of light, whether that be in soulful expression of human or animal faces, or the bloom of a flower or the sea. At its heart, my work is about offering small, steady moments of connection—both with ourselves and with something deeper and higher. My work is rooted in reflection, emotion, and the quiet spaces where healing and self-awareness meet. I am drawn to creating pieces that invite pause—whether through art, writing, or simple, thoughtful objects such as journals and cards. Alongside my artistic practice, I am an integrated creative supervisor, counsellor, and author, this background informs my sensitivity to creative expression and the subtle narratives individuals hold. While not explicitly therapeutic, my art is shaped by an awareness of emotional depth, resilience, and the value of pause. Across my practice, I aim to create pieces that are understated, honest, and quietly engaging—offering space for reflection in a fast-paced world. I live in Liverpool with my two Jack Russells, working as a creative counsellor and supervisor, writer, author artist and designer. I create therapeutic art used within counselling, coaching and therapeutic settings, with holistic health practitioners, movement coaches. Having worked as a lecturer and counsellor in the health and wellness fields for over 30+ years, I adore designing mindful products, books and resources around energising art to nourish and support clients and customers in their day to day lives. I used a mixed range of mediums, watercolour, inks, professional markers, gouache, acrylics, pens and pencils.

She currently support students through the university application process, guiding them to write their personal statement, as well as mentoring individuals who want to create their first ever CV and find the right career path, using the skill set that they have.
In 2018 Julia published Muse Mantra Colouring Meditations and in 2025 her fourth book was published The Way of the Boomerang: My Journey to ReBalance My Health with a Roadmap to Navigate Yours. Please see more here.
