Working with you prior to your wedding, I will illustrate your guests, you, your family.
You provide me with the photographs and I create an upper body illustration. These are reflections of that person and the personality - not caricature, not cartoon, a dollystration.
They can be scanned so you receive a high res image - which then means you can create further wedding favours and gifts. Badges, Brolly, Bags!

We searched though pictures of our friends and family, generally selecting three or four pictures of each guest. It was so simple to send the pictures of to Jules with little descriptions and anecdotes about all of our guests.
She then took all the information and produced amazing drawings!!!
Jules would always send us photos to keep us up to date with how she was getting on and every time we were amazed at how she had captured our friends and family.
Once she had finished the task of drawing all of our guests we had the joy of meeting up once again in order to collect all of our guests as a soul portrait. They were all wrapped up in pink tissue paper and opening every little packet made us feel like kids at Christmas. Every portrait was just as amazing the next.
Jules’ involvement in the favours didn’t just stop with the illustrations, she helped us with ideas of how to present them, different companies we could use and even how we could use the images once the wedding day was over.
It was so much fun working with Jules and she always had such a calming effect on us both. She was a real super star!!
When the time came for our guests to be seated at the wedding they all had an envelope with their names on and inside was their Illustration.
Immediately the room erupted with laughter and guests were getting up and going to each other tables in order to get a glimpse of each others portraits. It was fantastic for my husband and I to watch. All that time and effort had the exact effect that we wanted. The number of guests that came up to us through the rest of the day saying that they knew which pictures we had sent and that Jules had captured them perfectly. The finishing touch for us was when Jules attended the wedding and she could name all of our guests and tell them things that she knew about them. She remembered everything that we had said about our guests and they loved meeting the wonderful artist that had created their Soul Portrait!
Even now when we visit our guests houses we see their soul portraits sin picture frames, on fridges and pinned up.
Jules really is an amazing artist and I would strongly recommend using her, she is an inspirational, kind and caring person who will always help you get the finishing touches just right.
