My Mantra for living:- PURSUE YOUR PASSIONS why we need to use our creative muscles daily and a quick tip how to begin to do just that.

Do you ever find that you're itching to 'do' something yet you can't quite bring yourself to start.

The gremlins appear and you think it all has to be perfect.

Then you don't actually begin at all?

I need to sketch every day and if I'm honest, I don't, but I think about it.

I do plan for it, but sometimes other schedules get in the way.

And then I
get itchy, like something is not quite right.

Like I'm missing something.

It's then that I remember that I need to get back into my sketchbook

When I do
I feel like I am home.

I realise when I'm in this phase, that I have to actually schedule it so that I gift my time to do what I love.  I can't be doing every other thing in my business and lose sight of my sketching and healing art.

10 minutes of doing what you love every day, will provide you with so much joy.

I believe that the key to happiness is Doing What You Love, whether this is full time, part time, or for a small section of your day, it will provide inner peace and calm, and allow you to move through your day, feeling calmer.

My Mantra - PURSUE YOUR PASSIONS

We all have creative muscles we need to stretch, whether it is baking, paper crafting, sewing, tapestry, knitting, making jewellery, stamping, up cycling, model making, decoupaging, glass painting, writing ... the list goes on and on!!

Why not schedule this time into your day.

Yes! Actually put it in your calender - it's non negotiable.

At the moment I'm a third of the way through ReBalance Me, 30 days of rebalancing stories and prompts, along with 30 Muse Mantras.

In setting myself this task I have committed to writing every day for 30 days so that I can begin to bring together my 3rd book which is all about my healing from M.E {myalgic encephalomyelitis} when I was in my 20s.

I start with 10 minutes of scheduled writing and often write for an hour, but 10 minutes is the initial window - so that I at least sit down and begin.

The other day, I treated myself to a Daler Rowney A6 Watercolour Sketchbook, just £1 for 12, and with no pressure sat down to create postcards.

I began to sketch and fill.

It's not about the finished product, but the process of doing what you love for 10 minutes.

What can you do for 10 minutes every day that makes your heart sing?

How can you Pursue Your Passions for 10 minutes a day.

Let me know in the comments.

Much love
Jules xxx
