I always feel tingles of excitement followed by waves of nerves whenever it is the 'night before' anything. Whether it be exams, dates, courses, moves, holidays, journeys. Don't you? The night before I was running The Holiday Muse was no exception. I was writing 9 days of prompts, guiding the women who had gathered, helping them to move through the lead up to the holidays, gently, calmly and peacefully. Each day I featured a Muse Mantra featuring a woman from around the world and her mantra, (something she says to herself often.) So, you know, when I talk of mantras, I mean affirmations, sayings, go-to-positive statements. (and did you know that the Mantra comes from the Sanskrit word meaning 'instrument of thought,' and when repeated, it aids concentration in meditation and even when not meditating.) My aim was for the email to glide into your daily life where you could gaze upon the illustration; an image filled with Reiki symbols for balancing any present issues, healing any past hurts and supporting your heart. More light More love More peace. that's what we all want right? Each day had an accompanying message and a Prescription, which was a prompt to go a bit deeper. So my nudge to you (if you find yourself reading this now) is find 3 minutes to get quiet, be still, and to look upon each of the images, she will give you a sense of calm as you move through your day. Here I give you a bit of a round-up so you get a flavour of what we experienced.
