As we come towards the end of the first month of 2015, you may be feeling out of sorts - perhaps the dark nights may be depleting your energy levels. Maybe something doesn't 'feel' right within you. You may have been feeling this way for quite a while. Perhaps you are struggling right now to just keep upright. Join me for RE:balance:ME - a 4-week journey where I guide you to look at various aspects of your health, exploring one small thing every day for 30 days. You can take it at your own pace and focus on what resonates with you, or you can just read the emails and then go back to them when you can. The 30 days are broken into 6 areas that from my own experience, I believe are really important in your healing journey back to balance. These six areas are: ▪ Boosting Immunity ▪ Complementing ▪ Becoming Aware ▪ Cocooning ▪ Nourishing ▪ Creativity "Love the first day! I might celebrate by cracking open a new journal. The questions you ask triggered so many ideas. I don't want to lose anything. My marking proved quite poor; that's why I'm here I guess, to find some balance again! The classes that are written from the heart and the guts, are my favorite. They are the real deal! Thank YOU for sharing your experience with us. I have a lot to learn." xoxo Sabrina, USA "Julia I think it is wonderful that you are prepared to share all of this and consequently help others reach the other side of their own health issues. I like the format as it's not 'intrusive' but gentle and caring - so I'm looking forward to taking on board some of your advice and moving to a more balance existence. Lots of questions flying round in my head - think I with map them out to get a clearer picture." Julie, France Who am I to guide this journey? When I was in my 20s, I suffered a very debilitating illness for pretty much the whole of that decade; M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis) sometimes also known as CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). By the time I was 29, I was well, healed, having embarked on such a long journey of investigation and healing work. I had to deal with intense flu-like symptoms and fatigue, lack of coordination, muscle wasting, headaches, coordination problems and pain, throat restriction, then came intense food and chemical intollerances plus a diagnosis of candidiasis. I pretty much tried every complementary therapy going and became my own private investigator. There wasn't one thing that healed me but a collective bundle. While I write my 3rd book, Healing Me Healing You, I am going to guide you through a journey to experience a little of it. Read a little more about me here. : Join the Journey : here's what you all will receive:
Join the Rebalancing Journey If you'd like to be kept updated with journeys with me and studio updates, then why not sign up to my Museletter below. It's free and I never share your email addresses. For the past four years I have chosen a word for the year - this tends to happen towards the end of December, when I find small snapshots of time to reflect on the year that is leaving and visualise the kind of year that is approaching. Last year my word was Release and boy, it was a releasing kind of year. Releasing my online Journeys:
Releasing Emotional Baggage Releasing Product - The Muse Mantra Deck Birthed Releasing my first collection of work in the flesh at Hobbycraft Aintree. I could go on about the Releasing!
This year, like last and the one before, I turned to Susannah Conway's Unravelling the Year Ahead 2015. I adore her style, it's gentle, not blarey-garey, it's simple, and deeply thought provoking, nudging me to really dig in about my year that has gone and the year that appears. This year the graphics are all by Jo at The Darling Tree, which I just mush over. Susannah offered a free 5 day course called 'Find Your Word'. Let me say. I loved it. Again, simple, yet guiding prompts - similar in truth to what I do naturally, yet a beautiful structure and a group of gorgeously supportive women in a private Facebook group - all doing the same thing but in varying stages. So what word appeared to me? TingleVery early on it sprung onto the page
Even writing it now, I feel a tingle because I know it is spot on for me. I love this word, the moment she jumped on the page. Tingle is how I want 2015 to feel. It's not a resolution, it's a feeling to embody. I want to tingle in my business, by working on projects that make me tingle and outsource those that don't. ( I am realistic so I know that there are always non-tingley aspects of business, but I'll make it a 80/20 rule of thumb to tingle 80% of the time). I want my relationships to tingle - my marriage, my family, friendships, new friendships, work connections, teaching, counselling, coaching. The tingle will be present. This means that my guiding light is to feel a tingle and to do my best to bring this feeling into the year. As I discovered Tingle, I also found 12 other words that I am called to use for the 12 months of this year.
I haven't ever had a word a month, but I'm really loving that these will also give my month a guide. I'm already looking forward to how I will bring more FUN into February. (honestly didn't plan the F's there! And so it's January 1st and I am feeling optimistic and enthusiastic about things for this coming year. I would love to know - what is YOUR WORD for 2015? How did you get there? If you don't have a word, do you do something else? Let me know in the comments. Happy New Year!!!! Love JD xxx |
